David Alaba, Manuel Neuer, Thomas Muller, Jerome Boateng and Javi Martinez. These players presence in the dressing room will be essential to the club. Hansi Flick is aware that his team have a defensive vulnerability and unlike Lyon, PSG won’t miss their big chances.

Ivan Perisic is likely to start ahead of Coman. The Frenchman will be used in the second half of the game when the opposite is a bit tired. While Kimmich should start at right-back as Pavard has been just back from injury. The duo of Thiago and Goretzka should retain there place in the midfield. Jerome Boateng could be a doubt for the game as he was substituted against Lyon, though after the game Hansi Flick did confirm that he will be fit for the final.

PSG

Idrissa Gueye, Marco Verratti and Layvin Kurzawa are all doubtful for this game, while Keylor Navas is in a race to be fit for the final.

There were rumours that Neymar might be suspended for the final after he violated health norms by exchanging shirt with Leipzig player. However, to the relief of Ligue 1 giants, Neymar won’t be suspended for the game and he will be available to face Bayern Munich.

Despite being in great form Bayern have often conceded goals and PSG would want to exploit that. At times the Bavarians have struggled to create chances when teams sit deep and tight.

Neymar will be the key player for them the likes of Marquinhos, Di Maria, Icardi can also have a big say in the game. Tuchel is likely to look at how Lyon managed to create so many chances against Bayern and employ similar tactics.

A clash of heavyweight

Though PSG and Bayern Munich are considered to be big European teams, both of them were considered the favourites at the start of the season considering there last season.

Both the teams are very dominant in their domestic leagues as a result of which their domestic titles are not considered to be big trophies. They are now keen to show that their domestic dominance is a result of there quality rather than weak competition with a European trophy.

Bayern’ defensive vulnerability may cost them the game given how good PSG’ attack has been this season. The Parisians have also shown good defensive performance and there have been times when Bayern have relied upon their individual quality to score goals rather than there tactical quality. Against a top opposition, this might hurt the Germans and PSG are a top team.
