1. Liverpool will be more hungry after their last season’s disappointment
Liverpool mounted an incredible title charge last season, winning 30 matches while losing only one. By the end of the season, the Reds had amassed 97 points which should have got them the Premier League title. 4. Champions League victory
Last season, Liverpool got the biggest consolation imaginable when they landed the Champions League trophy. After the humiliating defeat at Camp Nou, there wasn’t a lot of hope left for Liverpool. Yet, they registered a memorable victory against Barcelona at Anfield and knocked the Catalans out of the elite European competition.
They played with the same determination and will in the CL final against Tottenham and eventually won that match easily. Liverpool must be very confident after such a great victory. Their European Cup victory could serve as a catalyst for more successes.
