AS Roma has announced that they sign Amadou Diawara from Napoli. He has joined Roma on a permanent deal for a fee of €21 million.

Guinean’s defensive midfielder has agreed a five-year contract with the club, that runs until 30 June 2024.
Diawara has started his career in San Marino in 2014, while the next year he joined Bologna where he spent one season after he moved in Napoli. Amadou Diawara spent three seasons for Napoli and made 74 appearances.
“We have been following Amadou for a while now,” said Guido Fienga, Roma’s chief executive for the official AS Roma website.
“He is a player whose talent has been clear to those in Italy for a number of years. We are pleased to welcome him to Roma, with the confidence that he can become an important player for the club.”
