EPL Fantasy Tips – Gameweek 15

Just as round 14 of EPL came to a close, it’s already time for top English teams to enter the next, with the opening fixtures of round 15 slated to take place on Tuesday, December 3, between Crystal Palace and Bournemouth, followed by an exciting clash between Burnley and Manchester City. So without further ado, let’s jump right into our EPL Fantasy team GW15 preview, where we unveil how our fantasy team will look like heading into the next round.

Fantasy EPL Tips for GW 15

Goalkeeper

For the upcoming week, we have been put in front of a tough decision of which goalkeeper to pick to defend our net. Pope will have a tough task defending his net against Manchester City, while Ryan does not have a much easier task, seeing how he will face the dangerous Arsenal’s attack. In our eyes, neither goalkeeper will have a serious shot at impressing, however, if we had to pick, we must side with Pope and Burnley. Unlike Brighton’s away record, Burnley have some solid results at home and we will hope they can make something happen here as well.

Alternative players: Vincente Guaita, Kasper Schmeichel.

Defenders

We will enter round 15 of EPL with three defenders, one of which is a new addition to our team. That someone is Çaglar Söyüncü who plays for Leicester. Söyüncü will also make his debut this round, alongside van Dijk and Aurier. Liverpool and van Dijk will meet with Everton in what is a match the Reds should win. Will we see van Dijk score more goals this round is anyone’s guess, but we will surely hope he can do so. Aurier, on the other side, will meet with the struggling Manchester United, which promises to be an exciting clash between two teams that have not yet lived up to the expectations put on them this season.

Alternative players: Ben Chilwell, John Lundstram, Trent Alexander-Arnold

Midfield

We will have four midfielders in our team for the upcoming round in Cantwell, Grealish, Mount and Mane. Surprisingly enough, as soon as we decided to bench Cantwell, he started to perform exponentially better and scored two goals in two consecutive fixtures. He scored once against Everton and one against Arsenal, which leads u to believe he can do it against Southampton as well, and for that reason, Cantwell is back in our starting lineup. Next to him, we will have Grealish, who scored against Man United last round and will now be put to a test once more against Chelsea. Mane and Mount are our last two midfielders, who we will hope can improve upon their less-than-impressive performance last round. Mount and Chelsea will clash with Aston Villa, while Liverpool and Mane play a host to Everton. Both fixtures carry some promise for goals and we will hope our duo will be the one producing goals.

Alternative players: Kevin De Bruyne, Christian Pulisic

Strikers

We will make no changes in our attack, as we do not feel like they’re needed. Ings has been in great form recently and we can expect him to keep up the tempo and put up a show against Norwich as well. Next to him, we have Kane, who has seven goals to his name this season, yet he failed to score in round 14 against Bournemouth. That being said, it’s easy to expect him to make waves against the struggling Manchester United, who just last round conceded two goals against Aston Villa. With that in mind, goals will surely be on display in Tottenham versus Man United bout and if there is one player who we can expect to score at least once it’s Kane. Last but not least, we have Vardy, who will look to add another goal to his already impressive record of 13 goals in 14 league games. Vardy has scored at least once in the last six games, which leads us to believe he can do it this week again.

Leicester will clash with Watford in what should be a fairly easy match for Foxes, considering Watford are coming of a 0-3 defeat against Burnley, where they failed to impress with their defence. For that reason, Vardy will also remain our captain as we believe he is the best pick out of all players, who should see the biggest return from the doubled points.

Alternative players: Gabriel Jesus, Raúl Jiménez

With that, we have come to an end of our EPL Fantasy team game week 15 preview. Once more, we have made a few changes to our team and looking at it now, we are happy with what we have. As for the upcoming week, we don’t have a lot of expectations for our goalkeeper, and still, have some doubts over how will Grealish perform against Chelsea. That being said, all other players seem like they have the potential to bring home a nice sum of points.  All three attackers are facing very favourable opponents, and the same can be said for most of our midfielders and defence. With what amount of points will we come out of game week 15 is anyone’s guess, but we are aiming to reach over 60 and improve our record from GW14.
