With the crisis of last season behind the team, and the new owners looking to strengthen areas that are slacking, it will be an exciting season for the London team. Chelsea is undoubtedly going into the new season with more to offer than most teams in the league. And if they can avoid significant injuries, there’s a good chance that Chelsea would win the league or end in the top four zones.
Tottenham
Another London club on this list is Tottenham. The team has been rejuvenated under Antonio Conte, and they look like they will be doing much damage next season. In that case, we expect more from the team as they continue to fight to win their first major trophy since 2008. And it is a good chance for them to win the league since 1961.
Liverpool
Last season’s runners up, Liverpool, is still a formidable team going into the new season. However, with players like Salah and Mane unsure of their future with the team, it won’t be an excellent way to get into the season. Therefore, they would need better replacements if they want a chance to challenge Manchester City for the league next season.
Newcastle United
Rejuvenated, strengthened, and ready to fight for the top spots. Last season, the team was in a rut, and thanks to the takeover, they could work their way out of the rut and climb to the top 10 positions.
Therefore, we expect them to become stronger in the new season. So, we think they would make it into one of the top European spots in the league.
Arsenal
Arteta’s boys are doing well. However, they lack some closing moments, and they fall short whenever they are the favorite to win. Therefore, it would be something that they need to work on before competing against the top teams in the league.
With a relatively young squad, Arsenal has a lot of rebuilding. However, we still expect them in the top 10 positions next season.
Manchester United
The arrival of Erik Ten Hag has brought some hope to the team. Therefore, we might expect some changes to improve the team compared to last season.
We will be looking at their progress in the transfer window. That will give some idea of how the team would set up for the next season. But we believe that they would make it into the top 10 half of the league.
West Ham United
West Ham United has shown the potential of how good they can get. However, they drop short at the end of the season and do not live up to their potential. In that case, we see them not performing as well as we expect.
Next season, with them securing a place in the UEFA Europa League and getting into the UEL last season, we might see them win a trophy and secure a European spot.
Everton FC
Although they barely scraped past the relegation zone last season, we expect they will be doing better next season. And as a result, we expect them to enter the top 10 positions and maybe get European football.
Leicester City
Leicester City’s 2015/2016 season has been the greatest in the club’s history. However, they’ve been struggling to live up to the hype since that season. As a result, they’ve been bouncing through the top positions.
We would love to see Leicester City enter the top 10 spots and even return to European football. But they need reinforcement in many areas before the season starts.
