Newcastle United, Chelsea eyeing FC Nordsjaelland talent Mario Dorgeles

FC Nordsjaelland midfielder Mario Dorgeles is attracting interest from Premier League duo Newcastle United and Chelsea ahead of the summer transfer window.

Mario Dorgeles, 19, is the latest highly-rated prospect to rise in prominence at FC Nordsjaelland after Ibrahim Osman, who has already been captured by Brighton and Hove Albion and will arrive at the Amex Stadium officially in July 2024. The midfield sensation has racked up 22 appearances across all competitions thus far, scoring a goal. His performances in the middle of the park for FC Nordsjaelland has alerted several European bigwigs.

Newcastle United could reportedly battle Chelsea for the signing of Dorgeles in the summer. Arsenal are also following the progress of the teenager, who has a contract with the Danish outfit until 2026.

The Magpies have been offered the opportunity to sign Dorgeles after he caught the attention of several Premier League scouts in the Danish league. The talented youngster was recommended to the Tyneside-based club by sporting director Dan Ashworth before he was put on gardening leave last month.
