Manchester City Win the Premier League Title

Manchester City won the third Premier League title in four years after Manchester United failed to beat Leicester City at Old Trafford.

Pep Guardiola said it  was “the hardest one” to win and dedicated the club’s fifth league championship in 10 years to legendary former player Colin Bell, who died in January.

“This has been a season and a Premier League title like no other,” said Guardiola.

“This was the hardest one. We will always remember this season for the way we won. I am so proud to be the manager here and of this group of players.

“They are so special. To come through this season, with all the restrictions and difficulties we’ve faced – and show the consistency we have is remarkable. It is relentless.”

Manchester City have already won one trophy two weeks ago after they beat Tottenham to claim the Carabao Cup and they will have a chance to win their first Champions League title if they beat Chelsea in the final.
