FC Barcelona have a new priority objective for the attack, to replace Ousmane Dembélé, who will leave the club at the end of the season. Raphinha could leave Leeds United at the end of the season and join Blaugrana.
According to the Catalan daily, Raphinha will most probably join FC Barcelona in the summer transfer window. An agreement around a five-year contract has already been found with the player and his agent, who is none other than Deco, a former Barça player during Laporta’s first stage at the head of the club.
An offer of 35 million euros has already been made to the Premier League team, which had paid just under 20 million euros to snatch him from Rennes during the 2020 summer transfer window. His profile is particularly appreciated in Barcelona, and Xavi has already given the green light when he arrives. Deco had already proposed it at the start of the season, and since then Barça has been following it very closely. It remains to be seen whether Barça’s proposal will be sufficient for Leeds United.
