Tottenham Hotspur have been connected with Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos, but some rumours claim that the Spanish youngster is now closest to joining Tottenham on a season-long loan deal.

Dani Ceballos, who helped Spain U21 team to win the EURO U21, hope that he’ll become part of Zinedine Zidane’s long-term plan at the Santiago Bernabeu, but with the recently upcoming transfers, Ceballos could join Tottenham.

Real Madrid have made few big transfers in the current summer transfer window such as Eden Hazard, Luka Jovic, Ferland Mendy, Rodrygo and Éder Militão, so it makes the higher possibility that Ceballos will leave the club.

Since joining Real Madrid from Real Betis in 2017, he has made just only 56 appearances for Los Blancos across all competitions, so he could move in London if he gets a personal guarantee from the Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino about his role within the squad.

Not only Tottenham showed their interest to bring the 22-year-old midfielder since AC Milan and Arsenal also want Ceballos , but at the moment he is close to joining Spurs.

Spurs want to continue the summer’s transfer window as they have already completed deals for Leeds United youngster Jack Clarke and Lyon midfielder Tanguy Ndombele.

Tottenham kick-off their Premier League campaign on August 10th when they welcome newly-promoted Aston Villa to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

  1. Instead of joining Spurs, he went to Arsenal, on loan from Real Madrid. Maybe it’s the better option for him and Gunners as well. He could be great in Arsenal and I believe with him in team Arsenal can make amazing results this season.
