Atlético Madrid have reached an agreement with Monaco to sign the contract with Spanish club.
The 22-old French winger had been linked with moves to Liverpool and Arsenal, but he decided to play in La Liga. According to official Atletico’s website team from Madrid and AS Monaco have achieved a preliminary agreement over the transfer of Thomas Lemar to our club. Over the next days, both clubs will work to close the agreement for the definitive transfer.
Thomas Lemar moved to AS Monaco from Caen 2015. He played 90 matches for Monaco in all competitions and scored 16 goals. Also, he played for all French national selections, starting from U17 and will be the part of World Cup 2018 in Russia.
