Juventus is on the brink of acquiring the promising Dutch full-back, Livano Comenencia, from PSV Eindhoven, and medical evaluations are already on the horizon.
This strategic move by the Bianconeri addresses their quest for a new right-back, following Juan Cuadrado’s departure earlier this summer. While Timothy Weah’s arrival augments the right wing-back position, Juventus recognizes the need for depth in the full-back roles on both sides of the field.
As per the latest update by Fabrizio Romano, a contractual agreement has been sealed to bring 19-year-old Comenencia into the fold. The transfer sum is reportedly in the vicinity of €3 million. Adding fuel to the anticipation, Comenencia shared an Instagram snapshot that hints at his impending journey to Italy.
Intriguingly, Romano also divulges that the necessary medical assessments have been arranged for the young talent. Yet, it remains to be seen whether he will swiftly integrate into the first team setup.

Comenencia’s roots with PSV run deep, as he entered the club’s ranks as a youngster, progressively climbing through the youth system to eventually feature in their reserve squad.
His prowess extends to international competitions as well, representing the Netherlands in various youth categories, with his most recent stint being in the Netherlands U18s.
Comenencia’s journey began at PSV’s youth academy back in 2012, culminating in his elevation to the reserve team in 2021. His dedication and talent were validated on 13 February 2022, as he inked a professional contract that binds him to PSV until 2025.
