vCash: 465 | maybe if fifa and uefa made tackling the prob a priorty rather than just blaming us english, then something might get done. If they Made every team play behind closed doors or banned them from european competition along with the rest of their domestic teams like they did after heysel (quite rightly) more would be done by the clubs as look at the effect it has had on english football |

vCash: 500 | you are 100 percent write,,, but they will not do it.. holigans run some of the clubs. look at lazio,, they r run by the ultras. when gascoin signed for them he had to sit in a meating with the board and the ultras and it was only the ultras that spoke to him... so how r they going to stop it...they have tried playing games behind closed doors and it does not work.. the fact is it will not change.. its like everything the english have done in the past comes back to bite them so we have to live with it thats why we was the only country ever to get baned for football deaths but when the two leeds fans where killed they said it was the english holigans once again.. so how will it ever change,,, i hope it will coz i hate going abroad [ thats when we r in euroup ] getting treated like a dog wherever we go to support the team i love.... peace out.... |

vCash: 500 | also i think the english police and clubs had alot to do with the prob stoping.. they put prices up witch stoped most of the drunks stay out and in the pub.. they treated holigans worst than a mugger or drug dealer with harder sentences and prob the biggest thing was the rave scene and the drugs that came with it.. |

vCash: 726 | i hate to get off topic, and as a mod i should really know better, but what is the problem with the 'rave scene'? 1. not all ravers are on drugs. 2. either way, they don't hurt anybody, they just want to dance in a field all night |

vCash: 500 | thats what i ment.. it took holigans away from football and made them into drug ridden happy ppl. im not saying raving is bad[ i love it] but it helped to channel ppls aggretion away from football... they learnt that ther was more to life.... |

vCash: 500 | Germany, Poland, and England should have been banned for more than 4 years in international games since those hooligans used used terrible violence and vandalized public places during WC2006. Germany, Poland, and England should be banned for more than 4 years in international games. But why they aren't banned? ![]() |

vCash: 465 | i think you'll find that most of the english fans were just pissheads not real hooligans, the old eastern bloc are now the biggest culprits and speaking of countries that should be banned then you need to throw italy and spain in there as they are the two most bigoted countries in world football today |

vCash: 500 | I know of a few people getting hit with ASBO's which prohibit them from certain areas when the footballs on, and from the police point of view it has worked by singling out high profile individuals they have stopped a lot of violence. |
